How does sneaker design relate to Web3? The emergence of cryptocurrencies and NFTs is comparable to the popularity of modern sneaker design. Historical patterns and human behavior can help identify the commonalities that exist between the two — these connections explain how the physical meets digital. Web3 and modern sneaker design are the result of foundational values of human perception. Leonardo DaVinci once said “all our knowledge has its origin in our perceptions.” Art is intertwined with culture, and culture provides identity. The themes of purpose and ownership are the key to understanding Web3 and sneaker culture.
