💪 About the Role

As the first product marketing hire, you will craft the product narrative, bring the customer voice to light through research-backed competitive positioning, and drive strategic product launches. This is a high visibility role and you will directly report to the CEO.

🙋‍♀️ You will own our product positioning, set the GTM strategy, drive engagement with customers and channel partners, and directly influence our entire product direction and pricing strategy.

🔐 You will establish the content marketing and growth marketing strategy, owning our website and other channels to build a pipeline of qualified ClearedIn prospects. Partnering with the sales team, you will develop the lead generation plan, leveraging distinct social channels to launch and optimize content including videos, podcasts, events, blogs and community etc.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 You will be expected to chart out the path to effective product marketing with a high degree of autonomy. We are an early-stage company, and the right person for this role should be able to self-direct, thrive in an unstructured environment, and drive the evolution of the scope and focus of your role over time. To succeed, you should have a working knowledge of the modern collaboration platforms (Teams, Zoom, Slack, Box).

✅ Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for the full funnel marketing: driving acquisition, awareness, and adoption of ClearedIn. In particular, we have a several open questions for you to tackle:

This is not just a strategy role - we need someone to figure out these questions and execute on those answers. On a typical day, you might find yourself thinking strategically about a content plan that helps drive sales leads and awareness.

We expect there to be a good deal of writing and communication involved with this role. You will create (and help others create) interesting, valuable content, while telling ClearedIn’s story to the community in a compelling, authentic way. This role will also give you a broad, end-to-end view of ClearedIn, as you will need to partner closely with Sales, Engineering, Product, Support, Design, and basically everyone else to succeed.
