Rotini with Chicken, Asparagus, and Tomatoes
Reminiscent of a pasta salad, this recipe coats rotini and colorful vegetables with a basil-flecked balsamic vinaigrette.

This was just a little bland for my taste.
Simple, healthy, tasty, a real winner, easy to make! Definitely will be a repeat dish at my place. The goat cheese really adds flavor to the dish.
Very tasty although I thought it made a lot more than 4 servings. I took advice from others and sprinkled a little Italian seasoning on the chicken. Will make it again for sure. Would be a pretty dish to serve at a dinner party.
I thought this was delicious and the serving size is ample for a hearty appetite. It will be even better when the cherry tomatoes and basil come from my own garden. I served it with a tossed green salad. Will definitely make again.
1.5 of the amount of balsamic vinaigrette and 1/2 the amount of tomatoes - just personal preferences.
This is a delicious dish. I made it without the chicken and it was great. it is very pretty in the bowl. This is sure to be an often repeated dish in our house.
Delicious! Nice and light with pretty colors and a variety of textures. Will definitely make again and again while asparagus is in season.
Kind of blah. No votes for making again at our house.
This is an excellent go-to meal for a weeknight or for something light. I left out the chicken for a meatless meal, and upped the basil flavor by using basil-infused olive oil. I used crumbled feta (on hand), and cooked the asparagus for far less time (I HATE gray asparagus!), leaving a small bit of crunch. It would be easy to sub pastas and use zucchini and oregano. It makes more than enough for two meals for the two of us. Wonderful!!!
This is definitely a 5 star recipe. I followed the recipe as written but I did substitute feta for goat cheese and I used a whole wheat pasta. There was definitely prep time involved but cooking time was fast. I served this dish with foccacia bread and a white wine. Fabulous!
My husband and I loved this dish! I doubled the amount of vinegar since we are balsamic vinegar fans. It was so easy to prepare and took under 30 minutes from start to finish. Leftovers reheat beautifully and it's even good cold. Winner!
This was a very easy recipe and took no time at all to prepare. I added in broccoli with the asparagus and chicken since I had some to use in the fridge. Tasty!
This dish went over well with my family. I used whole wheat rotini and doubled the chicken and asparagus as well as the balsamic vinegar. In addition to salt and pepper, I sprinkled the chicken with Italian herb seasoning. I served this alongside some simple French bread.
This was OK, but I found it a bit bland. The noodles just didn't have very much flavor. I followed the recipe exactly, and it was quick and easy to prepare. However I don't think I'll be adding it in to our rotation.
Loved this dish!!! The only change I made from the original recipe was I added a little Italian seasoning to the chicken before I cooked it. My husband is not a fan of goat cheese or feta cheese so I omitted it on his serving and added parmesan cheese and he loved it. I stirred feta crumbles into my serving and it was great as well. This recipe was so easy to make it took me about 30 minutes. Boiling the water for the pasta was literally the most time consuming part of preparing this dish. It came out so pretty too, with the green asparagus and the bright red tomatoes. Loved it! Will definitely be making this one again.
Very tasty! I seasoned the chicken with Greek seasoning and also marinated my asparagus in sun dried tomato dressing for a little white first. quick, tasty and good!
This is one of my new favorite pasta recipes! My husband and I both loved it. I used whole wheat noodles instead of the rotini, substituted 1 T. dried basil for the 2 T. fresh, and feta instead of goat cheese. The vinegar-y flavor combined with the vegetables and feta was delicious. Served it with fresh cantaloupe slices. We will definitely have this again.
Great and easy recipe.
My husband and I really enjoyed this meal! The goat cheese added an excellent flavor, and I really enjoyed all the different textures. It was quick and easy to prepare as well. Will definitely make again.
