I got into this quite late thanks to Gary Jarman from The Cribs and have hung around ever since. Now at 300 episodes, the last being with Betty Boo! I love the eclectic mix of artists who appear on this podcast and the conversational approach from James, which leads to things being discussed that you may not hear elsewhere. A large back catalogue for me to dip into now too!

Essential listening for music fanatics. James’ interviews are enlightening in ways you’d never expect. Guests are comfortable here to share thoughts and tales you just won’t find anywhere else. It’s journalism of the highest quality.

This is one of my favourite podcasts! Really good guests with a lovely conversational feel to the show. James is a wonderful host and asks really good questions. I’ve found out about some really cool bands and books through this show that I probably would have missed otherwise.

Covering mental health, music and culture with an analytical and empathetic approach.

I listen to all of them, doesn’t matter if I know or like the artist being interviewed. I find it opens me up to all sorts of new stuff, James makes it all run smoothly and it’s a constant companion on dog walks. Can’t think of a reason not to give it a go.

Enthusiastic music fan with skill of a journalist allow the guest to express and tell a story….. Fantastic stuff
