A Marvin Gaye impersonator has staged a special concert at Trentham Monkey Forest as organisers hope the inhabitants will produce some adorable babies for the new season.

The talented singer rattled off hits including Let's Get It On and of course - Sexual Healing.

And with Valentine's Day not too far away organisers were hoping the tongue-in-cheek concert would perhaps help romance blossom.

Our photographer went along to the gig and while the monkeys were busy chomping away on some food - they were sat while the talented singer went through the hits.

Just last month the Monkey Forest confirmed it is currently mating season with organisers confident they will have some 'beautiful baby monkeys' arriving this year.

The popular Monkey Forest is closed until February 19 with tickets now available for those planning a trip.
