Holly
Rehder

Holly Thompson Rehder joins Axiom after decades of experience working in government affairs, mergers and acquisitions, public policy, and political campaigns. Her experience includes directing corporate government affairs operations across multiple states in the telecommunications industry, co-founding a telecommunications contracting company of her own, and running Congresswoman JoAnn Emerson's re-election campaign prior to successfully running for office herself.

As a former legislator first elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in 2012, Holly spent 8 years in the Missouri House and 4 years in the Missouri Senate. Senator Thompson Rehder worked tenaciously to affect change in policies that would help victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence, policies to help in the fight against drug abuse and help families struggling in addiction, policies to help children in the state’s foster care, and to ensure funding for the state’s mental health needs. Throughout her legislative tenure, Holly focused on the policies that could bring generational changes to the lives of others.

Coming from very humble beginnings herself, Holly is a published author and sought–after public speaker who speaks across the country on subjects that too often are hidden in the shadows: addiction, sexual abuse, domestic violence, mental illness, and poverty. As a rare former lawmaker who speaks candidly from raw personal experience, Holly rises above the worn-out political arguments to provide an unvarnished look inside the worst of American poverty––challenging those of us with the ability to affect change to do so, while simultaneously reaching out to those struggling.

Ms. Rehder is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communications with her emphasis in Public Relations, and double minors in Political Science and Communications for Legal Professionals (Debate). His leadership was instrumental in Dr. Jackson’s strong political and fundraising success, positioning the Congressman among the top fundraisers in the Republican Conference and Texas Delegation.

Throughout his career, Jeff has held senior roles for influential Members of Congress, including former Rep. Peter Roskam (IL-06), former Ways and Means Chairman Kevin Brady (TX-08), and Rep. Kevin Hern (OK-01). Mark
Lisella

Mark Lisella has worked on over 500 political & issue campaigns, from the local to federal level, in every region of the country. He has three decades of professional experience creating winning strategies and political advertising for Republican candidates, non-profits, trade associations, corporations, and issue clients.

Determined to introduce the latest commercial innovations to the political world, Mark was an early advocate of digital media, and among the first to combine consumer & voter data to enhance targeting.

Mark has contributed to projects for the Republican National Committee, the National Republican Senatorial Committee, and the National Republican Congressional Committee. At the state level, Mark has worked with the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC), and Republican committees in Delaware, Michigan, New Hampshire, Virginia, California, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kansas, New Jersey, Florida, Texas, West Virgina, and Missouri.

Prior to joining Axiom, his strategic communications firm Lisella Public Affairs received 44 national advertising awards for voter mail, newspaper, radio and TV advertising– more than any other political firm in the Carolinas. While “tactically agnostic,” Mark admits a bias toward voter mail for its punch and targetability.

Through the U.S. State Department’s ACYPL program, Mark served as a guest lecturer on campaign strategy and tactics to our foreign allies. Additionally, he assisted the government of Pakistan with media relations in the collaborative fight against global terror.

Mark has a B.A. in Political Science from the College of Charleston and a Masters in Government from Johns Hopkins University. Michael
Gorecki

A seasoned operative of New England campaigns, Gorecki joins Axiom as the New England Regional Director.

Originally hailing from deep blue Massachusetts, Gorecki experienced first-hand living behind enemy lines. To those who know him, perhaps the only thing stronger than his conservative Republican politics is his thick Boston accent. Taking an interest in politics from a young age, he volunteered on his first campaign at 16 years old. By 18, he helped run a successful re-election race for a Republican City Councilor-at-Large in his deeply Democrat home city of 60,000 residents. Just two years later, he successfully re-elected the same Councilor for another term.

Following his successful municipal campaigns, and while still a student in college, he worked for Ted Cruz’s 2016 presidential campaign as a Regional Field Director in southern New Hampshire, where Cruz finished a strong third – solidifying his place as a top-contender for the Republican nomination next to President Trump. After spending four years in financial services, Gorecki made his return to campaigns with the stunning come-from-behind victory as Karoline Leavitt’s Campaign Manager for her 2022 congressional race in NH-01.

Known for always tasking himself in underdog roles, Gorecki assumed the helm at the New Hampshire Committee to Elect House Republicans in 2024. Conventional wisdom held that House Republicans would be lucky to maintain their razor-thin 201-199 majority. Yet, despite Vice-President Kamala Harris winning the Granite State with 51% of the vote, House Republicans expanded their majority from 201 to 222.

Gorecki resides in Goffstown, NH with his German Shepherd, Junior.
