Johnny Lee Clary passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014 at home in Baton Rouge. He was a former longtime resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and a native of Del City, Oklahoma. He was an evangelist. Survived by his wife, one daughter, one sister, and two brothers.

Johnny Lee Clary was a former Ku Klux Klan leader who became a Pentecostal Christian and traveled around the globe preaching the gospel and teaching against racism and hate groups such as the Ku Klux Klan, Neo Nazis, and the Aryan Nations. Clary was known also as the wrestler Johnny Angel who had success in the 1980s in the National Wrestling Federation.
