Proposition 64 has passed. What does this mean for landlords and property managers? We'll help you make sense of it all.

When voters decisively passed a ballot to legalize marijuana for recreation use, the rental industry scrambled to understand how this would impact their business.
Many landlords are concerned that cannabis use and cultivation within their rental units will create a nuisance for other tenants. If you are in that camp, we can ensure that you maintain control over what is going on in your property.
Some landlords were in favor of the initiative and condone marijuana. If that sounds like you, please be aware that you need to protect your rental business from liability under other laws on the books.
We remain neutral on this topic. Our job is not to legislate or evaluate choices, but to fiercely protect the interests of rental property owners no matter where they fall on the pendulum.
