The variety and vitality of the electronic music scene of Catalonia through ten of the most prominent artists and DJs of the moment.    Written and curated by journalist Javier Blanquez, one of the country's leading experts in electronic music and author of the book "Loops: Una historia de la música electrónica" (Loops: A history of Electronic Music), the short documentary presents the most recent artistic projects developed in Catalonia by both emerging creators and well-established artists. Artists such as Pedro Pina, Begun, Luna Ki or Rosalía who, despite the huge difference in style, they are united in the most important thing: the creative freedom provided by a diverse and dynamic scene.    “The Catalan Electronic Music Scene” (2020) is produced by Catalan Arts, the internationalization brand of the Catalan Institute for Cultural Enterprises, with the aim of opening a window to the Catalan music scene and contributing to its international projection. © 2020 Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals Music and Visuals Courtesy of: Pina: “Vacu”, Buit (Lapsus), 2020 / “Vacu” Visuals: Gnomalab, 2020 / Live Images: Cutoff Pro Audio for United We Stream Barcelona Ylia: “Golden Plate”, Household Choirs (Super Utu), 2020 / “Regen”, QUINZE (Lapsus Records), 2020 C.P.I. “Walking and Falling”, Alianza (Hivern Discs), 2020 / “Sol”, Alianza (Hivern Discs), 2020 / "Sol”, “Walking and Falling”, Epileg”, “Lamento”, “Islaals”, “I/O” Visuals: Marta Bala Visual Art, 2020 JMII : “Modulation”, Modulations (Hivern Discs), 2019 / “Polydays”, Modulations (Hivern Discs), 2019 Pedro Vian: “Can Mortera”, Ibillorca (Modern Obscure Music), 2020 Coyu : “Technostalgia”, Technostalgia (Suara), 2020 / “Monitor Barcelona” Images: Matthew Digby / Beatport, 2018 Sustainer: “Anticuario #04”, Anticuario (Rottenman Editions), 2020 / “Anticuario” Images: Rottenman Editions, 2020 / “Medicina Eòlica” Visuals: Albert Mars, 2020 beGun: “IXTAPA (Adelaide's Voyage)”, OKEANÍDES (Synesthesia / Foehn Records), 2020 / “KORPFJELL (The next frontier)”, OKEANÍDES (Synesthesia / Foehn Records), 2020 / “HBU (Hunting hunters)”, OKEANÍDES (Synesthesia / Foehn Records), 2020 / “KORPFJELL (The next frontier)”, “HBU (Hunting hunters)”, OKEANÍDES, Visuals: Synesthesia Media, 2020 / Inspired by The Outlaw Ocean a book by Ian Urbina Luna Ki : “Rivotril” by Luna Ki & Kenya Racaile, 2020 / “Septiembre”, Unknown, 2034 EP, 2019 / “Buenos Días", 2019 Rosalía : “TKN” by Rosalía & Travis Scott (Columbia Records / Sony Music), 2020 / “A Palé” (Columbia Records / Sony Music), 2019 Video Footage Courtesy of : Agència Catalana de Turisme Barcelona Turisme Catalunya Film Commission Lapsus Primavera Sound Razzmatazz – The Loft Sala Apolo Sónar Sónar+D ©Yann Arthus-Bertrand « extrait du livre La Catalogne vue du ciel.
