Somewhere Boy: Season 1 (TV, 2022) |
You know a show is special when you’re so keen to watch the next episode. I watched all of this in one go... all eight parts. I just could not get enough of it.

Rogue Heroes: Season 1 (TV, 2022) |
The characters feel very much like Stephen Knight creations because that’s what he’s always written and prided himself on. So I sort of feel that this is just perfect for Stephen too. - BBC.com

Tokyo Vice: Season 1 (TV, 2022) |
I love the fact that you hear the two main characters speaking fluent Japanese throughout the series too. It gives it that level of depth, that extra little bit authenticity and heck, encourages you to put away your phone for a bit.

House of the Dragon: Season 1 - The Princess and the Queen (TV Episode) |
I like the fact that this show is less sprawling than the original. There are far fewer characters. The show also feels different to Game of Thrones by looking at the factions and fighting within one family rather than across many others. - BBC.com

Stranger Things: Season 4 (TV, 2022) |
When you watch these episodes from this new series, it doesn't really offer anything deeper, such as a deep dive into the characters or their relationships. There's just more plot.

The Undeclared War: Season 1 (TV, 2022) |
It isn't a must-watch, but I still find it very informative. Peter has worked on this for years researching it, and of course GCHQ is quite a cryptic organisation. To provide us a bit of insight he did a lot of research. - BBC.com

The Newsreader: Season 1 (TV, 2022) |
Some shows set in newsrooms don't work because they feel too worthy. This series doesn't fall into that trap because it is set right back in the '80s. You end up getting sucked into how it looks at news reporting in the pre-internet era. - BBC.com

Heartstopper: Season 1 (TV, 2022) |
When Ive spoken to friends who have seen the show, there is a weird melancholy after you finish watching. That melancholy is evident because I think for some people in their 30s, or in their 20s, or who arent in school any more, they never had this. - BBC.com

The Long Call: Season 1 (TV, 2021) |
