Polestar boosts UK network with 100 service points

Polestar has appointed 100 authorised service points across the UK.

“With our digital retail model we knew it would be crucial to provide our customers with a reliable and established service network from day one,” said head of Polestar UK, Jonathan Goodman.

“With our strategic connection to Volvo Cars, we have enabled access to their service network that means that Polestar owners benefit from the Volvo service footprint all over the UK.”

Polestar owners can access services on the Polestar app or call Polestar Support to book a visit to their nearest service point. While a nationwide pick-up and delivery service is available, the volume and location of these service points means increased convenience should customers want to visit a workshop themselves.

Polestar-authorised service technicians are trained to the highest standards and each authorised service point is required to undertake specific training in order to upgrade their technicians’ skills to handle the very latest in electric vehicle technology.

The Polestar service points benefit from up to three deliveries of parts per day via Volvo Car Group’s industry-leading parts logistics system.

Goodman added: “Our roots are growing ever deeper in the UK, with Polestar Spaces in London Westfield and the Trafford Centre thus far. We have also recently opened a Milton Keynes test drive location, and more will follow in Daventry, Cambridge, Harrogate and elsewhere during the summer – not to mention our 140 engineers based in Coventry who are working on the next generation of electric performance vehicles from Polestar.

“Now, we can add Polestar service points from Inverness to Truro, from Belfast to Canterbury and from Aberaeron to Norwich. Actions speak louder than words, and what we are doing demonstrates the importance of the UK market to Polestar.”
