This leads to the AIIA platform where they have a product catalogue of sorts -- there's a language bar (to switch English) where you can get a decent idea of the type of products. Interesting how they are sorted by "star rating" -- which is determined by whether the company's product information is complete, whether they have submitted proof of the product, whether they have passed a third-party evaluation, whether they have given access to or reported on monitoring data; these correspond to more stars

The English bar isn't perfect but better than no English bar, and gives a sense of how the catalogue works: - for example, 2nd row should say Megvii's Mingji intelligent temperature measurement system

Good article that unpacks spread of thermal camera systems and the inadequacies as well as risks -- interesting that the CEO of Remark Holdings (which pitched its fever surveillance system to the Las Vegas Police Department last week) gives the exact same number for the accuracy of the technology (within .3 degrees although in Fahrenheit not Celsius, so I guess they claim even greater accuracy)

no specific companies or institutions attached to this use case
This seems to be the messaging the AIIA wants to get across

what's interesting here is that the recommendations aren't really about how to tailor AI specifically to control coronavirus but more of general asks to speed up AI development --- it's important to remember that this is an industry alliance (like a lobbying group) -- would be interesting to tug on the differences between AIIA and a standard lobbying group
