Stephen King: Coronavirus is NOT like THE STAND

As the coronavirus sweeps the world, many horror fans can’t help but see the parallels between the outbreak and Stephen King’s magnum opus The Stand. But today, King took to Twitter to put all those talks to bed, writing: “No, coronavirus is NOT like THE STAND. It’s not anywhere near as serious. It’s eminently survivable. Keep calm and take all reasonable precautions.”
