Cat Greenleaf settles disability-discrimination suit against NBC

Ousted “Talk Stoop” TV host Cat Greenleaf has settled her case against NBC over claims the network fired her because she suffered from depression.

Greenleaf, who interviewed celebs from the Kardashians to Spike Lee on the steps of her Brooklyn brownstone, settled her disability-discrimination lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court on Thursday afternoon, according to court papers.

A rep for Greenleaf said the terms of the deal would remain confidential.

“I’m extremely pleased the lawsuit has been resolved with NBC,” Greenleaf said in a statement.

“Talk Stoop was created exactly a decade ago this month. I will always be proud of what we made and humbled by the love from fans and guests both on the show and during this past year.”

Greenleaf filed suit last April — a day after the network announced she would be replaced by MTV host Nessa Diab — claiming she was fired in December 2017 soon after confiding in her boss that she had relapsed into depression following the death of a close friend.

The Boerum Hill mother of two — who launched the show in 2009 — says she was diagnosed with depression at age 7 and has also been treated for anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

The Post reported at the time that the network’s official reason for her termination was her “intimidation of co-workers,” “not effectively communicating” and “insubordination,” according to court papers.

But Greenleaf said this was only pretext to fire her because of her mental struggles.

NBC declined to comment.
